Virtual Lessons

In light of the Covid-19 Pandemic, Entr'acte Studios is proud to provide music lessons in a virtual setting. Remote lessons make for a convenient alternative for families in isolation or actively practicing social distancing measures, and is also offered to students currently residing out of province. Classes are facilitated through the Zoom App, which can be downloaded/updated here, with Class URLs, Meeting IDs, and passwords emailed on lesson days.

At this time, Entr'acte Studios is happy to offer virtual lessons in Piano, Voice, Guitar, and Dance.

In-Home Music Lessons

  • Piano Lessons

The ability to play piano is possibly the most underrated skillset one can possess, whether one intends to pursue the performing arts professionally, or if one simply requires an outlet to express ones self artistically. Our teachers are versed in numerous styles, including classical, jazz, pop, and rock. In addition, students will be exposed to various piano playing techniques, including improvisation, accompaniment, and keyboard harmony.
  • ​Voice Lessons

​The most natural form of artistic expression, singing is a truly unique musical outlet. Every voice is different, which makes learning how to sing such a rewarding experience. Private voice lessons allow the student to learn the basics (Breathing and breathe support, posture, and projection), and develop necessary foundational skills. From there, students can pursue a variety of styles, including opera, musical theatre, and pop.

  • Guitar Lessons

​Everyone wants to learn how to play the guitar. Although a challenging instruments to learn, mastering this instrument can be very gratifying. At this time, Entr’acte Studios is happy to offer beginner and intermediate guitar lessons for students of all ages.

  • Acting Lessons
To quote the famous musical, Fame: “Acting is the hardest profession in the world.” Acting is the most raw form of artistic expression, whether one's focus is on live theatre, film, or television. Students have the opportunity to hone their skills in movement, emotion, and script analysis.​

In-Home Dance Lessons

  • Jazz Dance Lessons
Jazz is a must have skill! Whatever one dreams about, whether it's to be front and centre on stage, a backup dancer for a band, or a reason to stay active, this class is a must-have. In Jazz, students will learn foot work, dynamic body movement, and the importance of balance.
  • Musical Theatre Dance Lessons
Whether one is a singer, actor, or instrumentalist, dance is an incredible way to enhance your performance. No matter a student's dance ability, Musical Theatre will improve their stage presence and confidence. Dancers can look forward to learning movements, old and new, and even develop their own unique style.
  • Tap Dance Lessons
Tap Dance is an empowering skill set. Students will learn how to understand rhythms, how to create different sounds with their feet, and self-trust. Starting slow and steady, dancers feet will get quicker and more clear, with stardom not far behind!

Audition Prep and Song Coaching

Do you have a community theatre call coming up? Are you auditioning for a competitive dance team? Need an outlet to practice your materials?
